DIPLOMA IN DENTAL MECHANICS

Dental Mechanic Course (DMC) is a diploma course related to Dentistry. Basically, it is the course to train the candidate (student) in the field of dental technology. Dentistry and particularly Prosthodontics (a major branch of Dentistry) is largely dependent upon laboratory assistance. It is mandatory that for the success of any prosthetic dental treatment , the work received from the dental laboratory is precise.

ELIGIBILITY:

• Candidate should be at least 17 years of age at the time of admission
• The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent course examination thereof with science subjects i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized Indian University/Board.

DURATION OF COURSE: 2 years

SELECTION CRITERIA:

• Candidates shall be selected on basis of academic performance of 10 + 2 examination.
